What is the UKMobile app?

UKMobile is a free mobile application that individuals can download onto a mobile device.

What are some current features?

Current features include:

	--View UK campus maps with labeled buildings and zoom and pan across the map using the device’s touch interface;
	--Search the library catalog for book and document availability by title, author, or keywords;
	--View the most popular content from UK’s YouTube Channel;
	--Follow UK sports with news, schedules, and updated scores from UKAthlethics.com;
	--Read top news stories from UKNow by browsing categories such as campus news, student life, research, employee news, UK HealthCare, and President’s Blog or browse by most recent articles;
	--Search and view interesting UK photographs from 1885-present;
	--Search for members of the University Community through the Directory;
	--Easy access to numbers for UKPD or to find a safe ride home;
	--iTunesU content in the palm of your hand;
	--BbLearn offers students valuable academic support;
	--Follow UK Alumni events and news;
	--myUK is a mobile web application that gives you access to several useful Web apps; login using your UK ID and password;

What are some web applications found in myUK?

• Students: Catalog - Search the UK Course Catalog;
• Students: Registration - Register for courses from your mobile device;
• Students: My Classes - View your Classes and Grades;
• Students: K Week - Search K Week for events and locations (Every fall before and during K Week);
• Faculty: Class Roster - Look up your class roster; (Coming soon)
• Faculty: Grading - Grade your students; (Coming soon)
• Advisors: Advisee Record - Lookup advisee's records; (Coming soon)
• Advisors: Summer Advising Schedule (Available during Summer Advising Conference)

Where do I download UKMobile?

iPhone/iPad/iPod: Visit the iTunes App Store and search for “UKMobile.” Then click on either "Install" or "Free App" (via AppStore on device)

Android Devices: Visit the Android Market and install UKmobile -- https://market.android.com/ - UKMobile is the University of Kentucky. Anytime. Anywhere.

Blackberry: Visit the BlackBerry App World store here: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/. Click the appropriate link below for your Blackberry version: Keyboard or Touchscreen Models.
