Relation to Link Blue
This account is part of the Link Blue system Account, and will be created automatically for new students and employees.
AD Vs. MC
Active Directory typically belong to one of two domains. Either the AD domain, or the MC domain.
Accounts belonging to the MC Domain are managed by Medical Center IT, and typically belong to employees or students of the Medical Center. Only units belonging to the Medical Center can request that accounts be created in, or moved to, the MC domain.
All other Active Directory accounts belong the AD Domain. This includes students and employees of the various colleges and departments.
