Our License Agreement with Campus Pack Building Block (which gives us Campus Pack Blogs, Wikis and Podcasts) will end on May 9th 2011. If you use any of these tools and wish to keep the material you have created, please make preparations now.
For Campus Pack Wikis, it is quite easy to Export the HTML pages created by you and your students. First, enter the Campus Pack Wiki and once the Home page has loaded, find the Export Site link in the bottom-right part of the page. Please download this .ZIP file to an easy-to-find location on your local machine. This will allow you to reproduce HTML pages within the Blackboard Wiki tool (you will have to relink graphics).
Campus Pack Blogs/Journals work much the same as the Campus Pack Wiki Export Site. Again, please find an easy-to-find location on your local machine to save the .ZIP file.
Please make certain that you have the original audio files that you uploaded into Campus Pack Podcasts. If you are unable to locate the audio files you want to keep and reproduce using another tool in Blackboard, please contact us through the IT Service Desk so that we may work to retrieve those audio files for you. We are currently working to test alternate podcasting tools to replace the Campus Pack Podcast.
To contact the IT Service Desk, please call (859) 218-4357.
More information on this to come.
