1.) To send a message to other Users, first make sure you are in the correct course, go to the Tools Menu and then select Messages.
2.) Once in the Messages page you can create a new message by selecting the Create Message icon on the Action Bar.
3.) You can choose whom you would like to message by selecting either To, Cc, or Bcc.
4.) Next, just like an email, compose your message by entering in a Subject and a Body.
5.)You may attach files if you need by selecting the Browse button, finding the file(s) on your computer and selecting Open.
6.) Select Submit to finish.
You can keep track of Messages you have Sent and Received by checking both the Sent and Inbox folders.
Note: Email within Blackboard is often the best way to communicate, with the above method messages remain in Blackboard; whereas emails are actually sent to their UKY (or other) Inbox.
