Sending Emails from Blackboard
You can send emails in Blackboard two different ways:
(1) From your My Bb tab by selecting Send Email from the Tools menu.
(2) Send Email to different Users by selecting the Course you would like to work in, going to the Tools menu, and then select Send Email.
(3) Next, choose who you would like to email: All Users, All Groups, All Student Users, All Teaching Assistant Users, All Instructor Users, Select Users, or Select Groups.
(4) Enter a Subject and a Message; you can even spell-check by selecting the Spell-Check icon in the lower right hand corner of the Message window. If you need, you may also attach a file.
(5) Select Submit to finish.
The email you send will be sent to the email address that they have posted in their Personal Information. Any email sent to you through Blackboard will come to you through the email address that you have in your Personal Information.
