Inputting Grade Data Into an Excel Gradebook
1. To add grade data to the Grade Center file that you downloaded in Excel, first create a column name.
2. Next enter the grade data for that new column. It is possible to copy data from one excel workbook to another, if this is data previously recorded - Please make certain that your students are organized alphabetically by Last Name and then First Name for both workbooks (and that you have the correct number of students in each workbook) before copy/pasting data from one workbook to another.
3. After grade columns and data have been entered, make sure to 'Save As' to the delimiter type of your choice (again Comma Delimited is recommended).
