In order to use the Macintosh Computers
in the Student Computing Services labs and hublets around
campus, you must first activate your Macintosh account. See our complete
list of Macintosh Locations for more information about where you can
log in, or read Account Basics for information
about how to use your account.
Faculty, staff, and student
accounts can be created via the NetBlue
Account Manager. Log on with your link
blue userID and password. If you don't have an account, you will given
the option to create one.
If you are told that you are not eligible for an account,
please contact the Customer Service
Student computer accounts
are not generally available for persons who are not associated with UK.
This includes students
at other KY higher education institutions. Exceptions are made for visiting
lecturers, workshop attendees, or other persons who are sponsored by a
faculty member or a department and who will be using the equipment for
academic purposes for a limited time. To get more information or to request
an account for a non-UK person that you are sponsoring, please email our
systems administrators at macadm @ ewl.uky.edu at least one week
in advance of the visit.
