Finding your Mac Address on Windows Vista

This document shows you how to find the MAC address information for your machine running Windows Vista.
  1. Click on your Windows Start button.
    Windows Vista Start Button - brings up Start Menu
  2. On your Start Menu, in the 'Start Search' section, type the letters 'cmd'. Once Vista locates the application click on it.

  3. At the command prompt, enter the command 'ipconfig /all' and hit enter.
    used to display network IP Address and Adapter information
  4. From the information displayed, locate your Wireless Adapter configuration and write down the Physical Address. This is what you will need in order to register your device.
