TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Office Communications Server 2007.

Office Communications Server 2007 Edge Server must be installed

The public interface of the Edge Server must be accessible to the UK Edge Server. Do a DNS look up against ocsedge.uky.edu for the current IP address if ACL required.

_sipfederationtls._tcp.<SIP Domain> must be published of type SRV in public DNS pointing to the Edge Server Public FQDN on port 5061

Edge Server Public FQDN must have the same domain suffix as the above mentioned SRV record.

Certificate used on the Public interface of the Edge Server must be signed by a public Certificate Authority.

Certificate common name used on the Private interface must match the FQDN of the Edge Server

Certificate must be at least 128bit
